✿- Our muses in a garden.

Emmeline was wandering through the garden just outside the castle, next to the greenhouse. “Ridley? Is that you? What are you doing here by yourself?”

"Looking at the flowers. The colors are really interesting if you look at them up close." Ridley held a flower up to her eye and and squinted. "There are so many colors on the inside that you can’t see from far away. And different colors when you hold it in different light."

Emmeline walked over to Ridley and sat down next to her, plucking a flower and putting it up to her eye, not really seeing anything different.

"You’re holding it wrong. Hold it up more, towards the sun so the light can go through it. And don’t grab it so hard, be gentle, focus."

Emmeline followed Ridley’s instructions and saw the hint of blue in the center of this red flower, and specks of purple in the yellow middle. “That’s incredible. How’d you know to do this?”

"Hiding from people that I don’t want to find me in here. The colors really blend you in."
