One of the many skills Amora felt was invaluable for Ronan to attain was an affinity for music; he plays piano at virtuoso level, and is skilled on guitar and and violin. The kinds of study that music requires are similar to the focus required for magic, so he practices everyday not only to hone his skill but to clear his mind for practicing spells.

He also finds it calming, considering how anxious he can feel at times.

AJ sighed as he walked into the station, his hair slightly disheveled, backpack slung over his shoulder and deep bags under his eyes. It was his first day back on shift after having a couple of days off and to say that he was just hungover would be an understatement. “Honey, I’m home!” He bellowed up the stairs of the fire hall with a laugh, stuffing his bag into his locker before walking into the kitchen and grabbing the biggest mug he could find and filling it to the brim with coffee that had clearly been sitting there longer than it should have been. Anthony went and sat down at the kitchen table before taking a large gulp of the warm liquid, not much caring about the fact that it was almost cold and put his head in his hands, eyes shutting as he sighed disappointedly to himself, “Today’s gonna be a long day.”

With the annual ball right around the corner, Margaret still had to finish the last bit of her shopping and she was glad that her sister was around because now the two could do that together. Her excitement remained due to the fact that her family was all here, and it hasn’t been that way for centuries now. However, all thoughts on the Masquerade ball had been placed to the side since she had plans to meet with Ronan. While the bar would be a public place to meet and chat, it’s not what she wanted. Neither did she want coffee or tea; Maggie didn’t want to do public at the moment so she asked him to meet her at her own residence. 

It wasn’t a long wait because she could hear his footsteps despite the distance and after placing the book she had been reading down, she gracefully made her way to her front door and opened it before he could knock or ring the bell. It was odd, to invite him over as if they had just left things yesterday when in reality it was longer than that, but maybe that’s why the desperation to see him was all the more. “I thought you might have gotten lost.” she greets with a smile before leaning against the door frame. “I was going to ask if I can come see you at your ship but I didn’t want to be a nuisance to your crew.” with that being said, she gestured for him to come inside as she took a step back to allow him inside.
