shane missed when the girl’s came back to camp. as the hours went on and it got closer to night, shane’s anxiety got worse and worse. she spent all day worried that something bad had happened to joss and erin, which was why she couldn’t go into the jungle herself. but now, as time went on, she was worried that she just doomed two more of the eves to the same fate. she tried to tell herself that it was just her paranoia, that they were all going to be okay. but it was hard when her mind was full of so many thoughts that she couldn’t think of any other out come. so she was busying herself and trying to keep herself distracted. as she walked back to camp, thankfully, she caught sight of the the two blondes. a smile quickly pulling to her face as she sped up her pace to camp. but when she got closer, she looked around hastily for joss and erin, her smile falling when she couldn’t find them. “what happened? where are they?” she asked izzy when she was close enough.

Isabelle was intrigued by mundanes, whether she admitted it or not. So from time to time, she would go out and just...let the world see her. Today she was clad in form fitting dark jeans, a red tank top with a black and red plaid jacket over it. Ebony hair was pulled half back, the top half forming into a braid that cascaded along the bottom half of her hair. She walked through the park. She had finished her Addicts Anonymous meeting and she was glad the weather wasn’t rainy on top of the chill. Heels clicked as she walked down the street, taking in the area around her. She didn’t have a lot of free time like this these days, and she was so lost in admiring the area around her, she bumped into someone as she was walking. “Oh, my gosh. I am so sorry.” she said, a blush on her cheeks that she hadn’t been more aware. “Are you alright?”

simon put the headphones down, registering that there had indeed been a knocking noise, he quickly set everything back to its original place, notebook still on the coffee table before sliding open the door, greeting her with a wide grin, “ ISABELLE, hi!”

Izzy gave a smile, waving her fingers a little at him. “Hey there, handsome.” she replied. “I came to see if you were busy.“ She asked, brushing some hair from her face. "I wanted to spend some time with you.”

She didn’t particularly like Clary at first, but she also realized there was a change in the wake of the girl’s arrival. So rather than turn her back on the girl, she opted to try and help. She’s been through a lot sinc Clary arrived, but with Valentine on the loose, there’s no time to be weak, even for a moment.A demon attack put Izzy in a bad place, she was having trouble healing and it led her to be introduced to Yuen fin, a vampire venom based ointment. Shebecame addicted, eventually going to the source. She lashed out at everyone aroudn her, tryign to act as if nothing was normal when in fact she was losing control. She wasn’t aware she was addicted until it was too late, and she almost lost her brothers to an attack on the Institute. She’s done well in recovering, only letting those closest to her know. But in her weakest moment, she met the one person who would threaten to destroy the world as the New YOrk Institute knew it, and she blames herself for his getting so close.When the Owl began attacking, she had no idea it was her adopted brother’s possession. By the time it was revealed, Izzy was stunned but determined to help JAce at all costs. So when every chance showed itself, she stepped up to help. By the time they got Jace back, Clary was missing and Izzy is doing what she can to help find her friend while worrying over her oldest brother’s being wounded being happy Jace is back.

Izzy smiled as they walked, moving to take Aline’s hand and itnertwine their fingers. Lifting them, the youngest Lightwood kissed Aline’s knuckles. “I don’t have to be scared when I’m with you, silly.” she mused, leaning against Aline’s side. “Are you gonna stay for a while?” she asked, looking at the other woman. “You can stay in my room.”
