BRIAN: That’s when I knew I had to quit - when I was just telling myself that it was fun. It became just another day job, I wasn’t even sure if I was the one who wanted to do it anymore.
It started out fun. But, looking back on it... it wasn’t ever fun. There was the adrenaline rush, the feeling of power over other people, but that... wasn’t fun. It didn’t even make me happy, really.

BRIAN: Bit confused as to why anyone would knight me, unless I missed something major while I was on the job. Not that I’m counting it out, but... yeah.
BRIAN: It’s kinda like being able to curl your tongue or wiggle your ears. I just sort of make my eyes glow.
...They also glow by themselves if I’m pissed off, so I try to avoid being pissed off.
[[ ask from @shadowboom500 ]]
BRIAN: Well, I do help Adrien gather ingredients for experimental potions sometimes. And occasionally I let them test the resulting concoctions on me, if they can swear that whatever they cooked up won’t somehow kill me.
Huh. Looks like someone is having a rough day.
i can’t remember who i am everything’s a blur take me over
BRIAN: I can’t be sure, it’s already fuzzy...
...but I could have sworn I felt the pressure of a hand on my shoulder.
