“Morning,” Thor said at he spotted Briar enter the kitchen. “I made breakfast. It isn’t much but just some toast and eggs. The only two things that I can make,” Thor laughed. “Been learning to cook a few things but I think the next thing I’ll try is breakfast foods because a perfect potato & chorizo breakfast hash would be a great way to start the morning,” he went on.
“Oh, I slept on the couch.” Thor pointed out as he rambled. He woke up early every morning and while he waited for her to wake he drank cup of coffee after cup of coffee. So he was up on cup number four so he was jittery and tried to put all that energy into the work that he could do from his apartment. “I was getting back from the office and found you in the lobby. Didn’t want you stumbling to your room or anything so I let you just crash here. Blame the brotherly instant in me,” he confessed.
