A few carefully placed threats and a broken bone or two had been enough to force Gaia to allow herself to remain clean after her shower, though it wouldn’t last long. Even her hair remained unbraided, falling in gentle waves that made her almost unrecognizable. If someone didn’t know better, they could have been tricked into thinking she was proper and civilized. That was, of course, until she barked out a low noise in wary greeting as someone came around the corner.
