He felt so tired when he left practice, and all he could think of doing was going home and cuddling. He really just wanted to lie down and relax for the rest of the day. Some of his teammates invited him to go out, but he really wasn’t in the mood for that. So Evan just waved them goodbye before heading home. And almost instantly, a frown covered his face as he walked in and no one came to welcome him. That was... unusual. But definitely worth it as he made his way through the house, and finally found them in the kitchen.
He already knew he loved seeing Gideon spending time with Hannah, but something about them baking - or at least, attempting to - with flour all over was even better. And it wasn’t long until his frown was replaced by a smile. Evan stayed there, leaned against the doorframe, for a moment as he watched, trying to engrave this moment in his memory. And he silently cursed himself for not having his camera; it would’ve been a perfect picture. But sometimes it was best to just live in the moment, so he made his way through the room. “Hey, what are you making here?”
