She threw the pieces of bread into the lake. Ariel saw someone do it, the mermaid wanted to copy. She threw another piece of bread, watching the piece of bread down. Why wasn’t it working? Where were the swimming birds? She turned around and was surprised to see Finn. 

There was a mute gasp before she hugged the other. Even with her situation, she wanted to see her favorite attendant. “I missed you.” She signed, the happy tears pricking her face,

Ariel was walking across the docks trying to find her way back. She loved the land but the sea was always her home. She wanted to see all of her friends and family once more. She took off her sandals and leaned closer to the docks. She wanted to jump back into the sea. 

But she paused when she saw a familar shadow. Could it be? Ariel tiptoed seeing the other. She tapped his shoulder, before talking. 

“Flounder?” She rasped, her voice weakened but laced with concern.
