"no, I don't know what happened. and no, I wouldn't tell you even if I did." the department was investigating the matter but wherever he went, people would ask questions, they wanted to know. and he understood that, he really did. but he just couldn't tell anyone what he truly did not know. nothing about the case made sense. the person who approached him hadn't had the chance to even ask a question though, but he was already unloading. "there is an active investigation, that's all I can say. anything else I can do for you?"
Sammy was aware of the investigation going on. The coven leader also knew to get closer to the scene, he had to get closer to the sheriff. And while having the job is great, he still has ways to go. There was a polite wave. "Sheriff it's only me. The IT Guy and temp admin while ours is on maternity leave." He said trying to jog Jacobs memory. There was a smile. "I just wanted to tell you I finally got anonymous backline fixed. Turned out to be some wires crossing with the coffee machine." He said. "Speaking of the coffee machine, I finally uncrossed the wires with the smoke alarm. Still can't microwave at the same time though or the fuse surges." He said the later a bit softer. "Two out of three isn't so bad sir." He remarked with a grin.
