Hephaethus wasn’t the type to ignore a greeting. Today, however, he was preoccupied with the headphones. Hephaethus whistled to himself as he walked along. It wasn’t until the other tapped on his shoulder that he took off an ear bud. 

“It’s Jenna, correct?” He asked once more. His memory was fading.

There was always something about animals that made the kitsune happy. Unlike humans, they don’t hide their intentions from the kitsune. Harper decided to look at the puppies with a smile. To be that young and carefree would be a blessing.

“They’re pretty cute aren’t they.” Harper said before glancing at the stranger.

Do they have siblings or other close relationships with family members of a similar age?

Jenna has an older brother and sister. Ashleigh is three years older, but they aren’t really close. She always wished she would teach her things about growing up, and be like the awesome big sisters in movies but Ashleigh has always been different to Jenna, much more focussed on herself. Both older siblings have the slightest, petty resentment towards the youngest due to their mother passing away after giving birth to her, but they’d never say this of course. Christopher is thirty-six now and left home pretty much as soon as he could. Jenna’s tried to reach out to him before but sometimes she doesn’t even know where he’s currently living.
