With her family making a grand barbeque gathering upon Bex's arrival, she already knew she was bound to see both Joel and his entire family short enough after re-freshing herself up with a new dress she put on before greeting her guests. Her family loved big family gatherings, especially her mother, since it now provided her with the opportunity to brag over her daughter's success. A few minutes had passed after talking with almost all of her relatives when Bex noticed the Adams family approaching from the front of the house, sqealing a little already the second she saw her tall best friend. She ran up to him, completely ignoring the rest or his family as she wrapped her arms around him.
