Kitty had heard rumors of a new mutant in the mansion. She of course, had disregarded it. Last time she had gotten thrilled over it, it had just been some hallucination that drove her to a manic depression, and let’s just say that Miss. Pryde did not enjoy that.
But, as she approached the kitchen, phone in hand, her eyes widened at the sight of a burly man perched in a seat next to the table. A newspaper clutched in his hands, his brunette hair poking out in various directions. She felt her breath catch in her throat.
She didn’t want to approach him. For fucks sake, it might not even actually be him... She maneuvered around the counter, filling a mug with coffee.
“Do you want a cup of coffee?” She asked the person softly, glancing over to him. She wanted it to be him. She hoped. She prayed that it wasn’t another hallucination.
