tess had seen robbie zooming around the hospital just as much as she was, but her priority was strictly allie, and that was understandable. allie was her neighbor and best friend, it was only natural that she did whatever she could to help her in this situation. especially when allie wasn’t going to do most of it on her own. she was doing the same - checking on peyton and grizz, even if they didn’t see her doing so. but after hours of passing each other and helping people, she decided to reach out and grab robbie, pulling her into a hug without explanation. today no one seemed to need one.

“Whoever you’re looking for isn’t here. Go away.” Robbie says dully, moving to close the door.

Treasure lets out a quiet sigh as she sets the kettle on the stove and starts getting mugs out of the cabinet. In the background, peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches seem to be making themselves as the woman picks out a box of tea and sets a bag in each of the three mugs. She glances back to the kid sitting in the dining room who’s only just visible from where she’s standing.

She then glances to her girlfriend, quietly muttering so their newest guest wouldn’t hear what she was saying. “I had a dream about him... sort of. Just before he started knocking.”

Robbie makes a face. “I’m not just some brat off the streets. I heard you get shit done and I need someone who can get shit done.” He pulls out a wad of cash and drops it on her desk. It was cash he’d had in his own savings and also cash he’d stolen from his parents before he’d ran away. “There’s a man who is doing horrible things to innocent people and I need someone to stop him.”
