Well Needed R&R

Roni hung up her cell phone after checking in with her handler. It had been two years now since she had been placed undercover in Mystic Falls charged with only one duty: to monitor the progress of Reagan Williams and to take care of her if she stepped out of line. The assignment confused her but she had been trained not to question the motives of the people she worked for, doing as she was told. Tossing the phone in her bag she climbed out of her car and headed across the street towards the Mystic Grille - a local hangout spot where many of the teenagers would go after school let out. She walked inside and looked around for her friend, slipping back into her fake identity. Spotting her at a high top near the pool tables she walked over and pulled out a stool for her to sit down. “Why does the first day always feel like the longest?” She asked, groaning and setting her bag down on the stool beside her before climbing up to sit down on the vacant one.
