I was wondering a bit specifically about Frankie after seeing some KOG stuff again.
Like, we know she has auditory and visual hallucinations. We know she perceives her dolls/toys as people who talk to her and stuff like them rolling away are viewed as them walking away from her (at least for a few moments, possibly whenever or longer. I don't know how long it goes and we'll find out after the episodes are released). And we know that Frankie sees the busted protagonist Gwen as the most idealized Princess Princess not-disney fantasy movie version of Guinevere.
But I'm wondering if other senses can get through her perception of reality.
If she touched Protag Gwen, would she feel the hair as ragged or perfectly brushed?
Would Frankie realize her hand phases through unseen gouges pre-repair?
If she stands next to Gwen would she smell the lingering seawater/chemicals or instead smell perfume/flowers?
Related to visuals: if presented with two Guineveres would Frankie see them as the same figure or could she tell them apart? (And if both are seen as the Perfect Princess, would the new one seem off like have evil-magic-eyes if clocked as the "evil Gwen")?
(Also regarding two different iterations of Gwen: like, would Mermaid Guinevere be a mermaid or would Frankie see the more popular or classical Snow White / Sleeping Beauty / Cinderella -esque princess?)
Given Frankie seems to hear Andi just fine I assume that means the reality overlay is mostly on nonhuman entities/items. I remember the time I was so sleep-deprived that I hallucinated reality glitching out and the only reason why I didn't scream or panic (outwardly, I was definitely freaking out in my head) was because I could tell no one else saw what I saw. That scared the shit out of me because it was one day of quietly panicking because everything was otherwise as-seen before/after. Meanwhile Frankie may see it as part of her normal since she's had this since at least as a kid so its not clear if she is unaware what she sees is not real or if she knows (at least by now) and relies on it for comfort.
