With no other warning, Jason lunged across the mat.
“No!” Tim yelled, dropping his staff. “Hood, don’t! I-”
Jason grabbed him by the hand and training took over. Even as he yelled and threatened to glue Jason’s helmet to his face, Tim allowed his brother to throw him into the air where he spun like a top before landing lightly on the mat. He tumbled into a forward roll and came to a stop on his back.
“I still have vertigo from my meds,” Tim groaned and clutched his stomach.
Which do you like more: The modern interpretation of Jason being scared of the Joker when he comes back, or the original version where Jason mocked the Joker openly and was clearly not afraid?
I liked the original Jason. I won't lie. He was fearless with EVERYTHIN and just kept his guard up. It's fly or fight with him. He can't trust anyone after his death.
He was clueless on his feelings towards it all and his actual peers which was and is still the downfall of Jason even to modern comics of Jason Todd.
He's been rewritten so many times, it's hard to keep up on what's really ‘him’ at this point. He's fearless, yes, but let him explore his emotions and open up on how he feels with others he's close to. Y'know?
Jason's story needs a mix of both modern and the original in my honest opinion. Keep it equal for him and NOT be an edge lord. Fuckin PLEASE 😩
ok, but Anya Taylor-Joy as Raven would be awsome, she was great in Split, The Witch and Morgan, i can only imagine how she would be as Raven, any thoughts?
Couple nights ago, my friend and I ruminated on how the Joker from Batman should REALLY be portrayed. They have the psychotic killer thing going, but to us, that's not accurate. Murder with puns just isn't what a true Joker should be.
We need a Joker who takes a dozen people hostage and demands 1 million dollars. Not in cash, but in mint-condition rare Pokémon cards. When the ransom is paid, he complains that they failed to deliver his ransom of Monster Rancher cards (which he explicitly didn't ask for), then shoots a hostage in the leg before shitting his pants.
If the Joker is to portrayed as lunacy and chaos, there needs to be a REAL commitment to that idea..

The next month, the Joker donates 3.8 million to the Make-A-Wish foundation that he stole from Salvation army. He is not seen or heard from for 2 weeks.
Later he holds a bystander at gunpoint claiming he'll kill them unless they can successfully admit their role in last week's kidnapping (a crime everyone knows did not take place). This situation is easily thwarted by Batman, since the Joker's gun is fake, in classic Joker fashion.
A month later, the Joker claims he IS fellow Gotham villain Poison Ivy. He speaks only in growls, and pretends to attack Batman with vines. Batman easily defeats him again.
A week later, after escaping Arkham Asylum, the Joker threatens to blow up a hospital unless Gotham's local news channel broadcasts a live feed of him giving himself a circumcision. Though the hospital was indeed filled with explosives ready to detonate at any moment, the Joker never shows up to the filming location. Alfred later discovers the Joker inside Wayne manor, unconscious and near-death after ingesting a year's worth of birth-control pills.
The following year, after escaping Arkham Asylum yet again, the Joker disguises himself as a cook at a local burger restaurant. He works there for the next 2 years without incident, before finally quitting and leaving Gotham on a bus to Tucson Arizona. He remains there for another 2 years, then returns to Gotham to commit more crime.
The following November, the Joker interrupts Gotham's Thanksgiving Day parade by blocking the street with a semi-truck. Batman arrives to intervene and discovers the Joker in the driver's seat, crying.
On the last day of the year, the Joker is again found massively overdosed on birth-control pills. Gotham authorities call on Batman to let the Joker die once and for all, yet Batman refuses, referring again to his longtime creed that it would be "reducing himself to the Joker's level."
