Not worried...Move, move!
Hey, why did you turn down the Jonah job?
Come on.
Jesus, Dan, you wouldn't know the smart move if it bent you over and fucked you with a Coke bottle. If Jonah loses, no one's gonna blame you. If he wins, you're a political genius.
I'll think about it.
Think fast. Ben's interviewing candidates right now.
I was going through 5x06 and I had completely forgotten about Dan and Bill competing as campaign managers and how prominent the ~rivalry was between them.
I can see where Anna was going with Amy and Bill and how she connected the dots from their interactions from the early seasons. In season 4, he’s considered the best campaign manager in America, who could have any job he wants. “He's Amy without a conscience and he's Dan without the The 5% that needs to be loved.” He’s cutthroat, ruthless, and incredibly competent, more so than Dan.
Considering how Dan devolved into a sex addict whose career aspirations came second (literally, did he do anything on Selina’s campaign other than timing the balloon drop? If only early seasons Dan could see him now), I don’t blame her for wanting more for Amy and crafting that ending. Bill treated her with more respect in those few scenes than Dan did the entire season.
Did you catch the inconsistency with Amy's clothing in 5x06? She was wearing a tweed dress with the black cardigan when investigating Mike then the next scene it's Selina saying she's going to bail out Charlie and Amy's wearing a black cami/purple cardigan (with a different necklace) and then late that night in the scene w Selina in the oval office she's wearing the dress again?
Ohh I didn’t notice that until you pointed it out. I guess they didn’t catch that during the editing process, or maybe they weren’t able to fit everything together without breaking up the scenes like that. I like that they occasionally reuse outfits. Amy also wore that black cami/purple cardigan outfit in Detroit.
Someone also pointed out to me that the camera angles were a bit strange during this episode because Anna was already showing. Anna mentioned they had to get creative hahaha.
wait-- amy could become the person who give mike and his wife a baby!! like a surrogate or egg donor or whatnot
I can’t imagine Amy becoming a surrogate for Mike and Wendy.
#You know, they say all babies are cute, but whoever “they” are, should be in a stroller and pushed into traffic.
I wonder what caused her to change her mind about the possibility of having kids in the future.
Poor Mike and Wendy, they’ve been trying to conceive since season 3. It’d be really sad to see things fall apart for them again, especially after seeing him at the end of 5x03 when he realized there was a ban on all foreign adoptions. He seemed so thrilled after getting an email from their surrogate and I’d love to see them enjoy a bit of happiness like Catherine is right now.
ALSO don't forget "I was in the Senate building with Dan". BTW what's with Dan and Candi "It was good seeing you again"?
I love the fact that Amy was with Dan when c**tgate happened and that literally everyone was responsible (except it’s not a gate). One of my favorite scenes is where they all confess to Amy what they were doing when it happened and then Gary’s reaction. Classic shit.
Yes, I want to know what happened between Dan and Candi as well. I do like the running joke of her never getting the job. Apparently, she’s also slated to appear in Congressional Ball (5x07) and Inauguration (5x10). Hopefully we’ll find out soon.
