There was a time before the Pocket Mortys craze when C-382 and D-416 actually got along pretty well.

Since this cute lil OC technically belongs to @spinetrick, I consulted heavily with her (and also got some help from @beta-19​) when coming up with this list of general Lob headcanons!

Likes: discordant noises, taking apart machines, breaking stuff, making sculptures out of trash, shooting people in the kneecap, humans, ricardo

Dislikes: working, losing limbs (Ricardo shares these dislikes, although the limbs he normally loses are usually misplaced other dead Rick limbs)

-Is very determined 

-Likes to collect things and hide them in secret places

-Touches things he shouldn't ("Ahh--aa-a no! Mierda! No lo toques! Nnn-no no touching the science!")

-When he’s younger he had no skill at fending for himself outside of a group but somehow managed not to die

-His species communicate through a series of blips and vibrations similar to dolphin sonar that comes from the nubbin on top of his head (Ricardo understands the language but is incapable of speaking it, and vice versa with Lob's comprehension of Ricardo's English/Spanglish)

-Makes up for his monocular vision with his headblob sonar ability; can literally ‘see’ things from the back of his head

-Nubbin can be used for visual expression -- up when happy/interested, droopy when sad/comfortable, flat when angry, curly when puzzled

-Intentionally or unintentionally he's a bit of a rebelious troublemaker among his kind

-Comes from a hierarchical planetary society where his sub species is a bottom rung on the ladder, meant to be the common worker drone

-All his sub species look identical, so the Citadel doesn’t phase him. He just assumes all humans are Ricks.

-Still has some residual cultural ideas about the worth of individuals. Taboo to value an individual more than the whole (nationalist over individualist)

-Not easily fazed; as a low-caste menial labourer, he’s seen a lotta shit 

-Intelligence level is pretty innocent without a lot of common sense or education, can be tricky though

-He's got a fascination with learning about humans even though all his knowledge comes from the only human he's ever met, who happens to be the sort of person to forget the word for humans

-He tries to emulate human culture based on the very limited information he has

-Gets a huge kick out of Teletubbies and teletubby merch -- ironically, coz the idea of weird-shaped head dongles is just so bizarre for him (thinks it’s edgy, like body modification)

-Does have enough charisma to convince a couple other lobs to form a truly wretched garage band with him.  the others’ level of dedication to the craft is questionable but they enjoy making loud noises together.  probably dissolves quickly when they get bored and decide to collect shiny rocks instead

-Had pinkeye once. It was awful.
