Were you pleased with the Viz dub of Sailor Moon or do you prefer the old one (Sans cousins) or subs?
The original Sailor Moon dub is why I became a sub-only person when I was like 13. So I think that kind of explains everything I think about it. 😂

Happy birthday! Hope you have a good one! 🥳
Thank you so much!! :D 💖
you definitely have a type
Seriously tho this is the first time I have liked a character who wasn't Garrus so "having a type" is a new experience for me, and I am excited to finally be embarrassed about this, like all of my much cooler mutuals always are!
@dana-chan-the-control-brain I GENUINELY WANT THE GARRUS BODY PILLOW. 😂😂😂

😭 I have been diagnosed with UwU!!
My friend made an absolutely killer observation a short while ago when we were talking about watching drama channels (without engaging in the drama) and she brought up a galaxy brain point;
I asked her why having an interest in true crime and watching true crime documentaries on Netflix or youtube or even traditional TV is not considered strange at all. There are entire satellite channels devoted specifically to true crime. (in my country it's called the Crime and Investigations channel). But if you admit you enjoy watching drama channels on youtube, or the larger drama-documentary videos on youtube about internet weirdoes or creeps, suddenly it's seen as a rather shitty interest.
(and again, I mean ONLY watching the drama channels. Not interacting with the individuals in any way nor giving it any more than watching and going 'wow that's fucked up' and then carrying on with your day.)
And my friend wondered if, perhaps, it's a "woman" thing.
See, drama and the discussion of drama tends to involve or at least feature to a larger degree pretty much anyone who is not a cis man. And why? Because when something reaches a level of ridiculousness that we can label it 'drama' and it involves cis men.... it turns into violence. and THEN you hit 'true crime'.
So it's considered 'ok' for women (I'm saying 'women' here but only because the fact that women really like true crime is a joke that's been in existence for literally decades. Just ask Agatha Christie.) but it's considered 'ok' for women to be interested in true crime as a hobby. But it's considered BAD when women are interested in drama... because... drama usually... doesn't involve.... murder??? So it's less acceptable?????
Neither me nor my friend are the type to immediately yell "Mysogeny!!!" about things... but whenever I start feeling like it's kind of shitty of me to find internet arguments and internet weirdoes interesting, I remind myself that if one of them murdered someone it would suddenly become a more acceptable interest.... apparently.
And like I said, my friend wonders if it's because women gossip, and men resort to violence. So basically, it's ok to find it interesting as a subject if it involves an argument escalating to violence, but it's catty and bitchy to find it interesting when violence isn't involved.
(I'm not saying only men are violent and only women gossip and cause drama. Far from it. But one is definitely more aggressive and therefore labelled as masculine while the other is arguing and manipulating which is apparently seen as more feminine.)
idk if I'm communicating this clearly or if it just sounds like I'm being very binary about this but.... I hope that makes sense??? Not even sure if it's true or not. It's just something to think about.
djsfkjshdkf YA'LL????
I saw your post on your anxiety making something seem more problematic than it actually is. I know we don't know each other very well but can I still offer you an air/internet hug? You don't need to accept if you don't want to! :)
X'D it did end up being a problem sadly (sorry for vague blogging. irl stuff) BUT! I am always open for internet hugs UwU
