it was so strange how things had worked out. brice had known margot and ellis since he was a child. and him had grown up and played together since they were in diapers. margot had just seemed like the little terror that they always used to pick on and found mostly annoying as they grew up and on into high school. brice however was never cruel to margot and found himself taking up for her against her brother through the years.. being an only child himself he never understood that brother sister dynamic and how you love and hate one another all at the same time. regardless there was so many memories that had burned in brice's mind and yet recently the ones that were overshadowing the old ones were something he surely wouldnt have admitted to anyone. since his parents had moved in the last year he had came back to his childhood home and ellis had even took brice old bedroom downstairs. brice new room which his folks once occupied had faced south which allowed him to see right into margot's bedroom window. it wasn't like he had tried to look into her window, he wasn't a creep. for the first three months he had refused to even open the curtains because he didn't want to be that man.
however one evening it had been particularly beautiful out and he had wanted a little fresh air. ellis had convinced him to play some stupid drinking card game against his will and he had found himself feeling slightly woozy and needing a good breeze. no sooner than the window was open and he leaned against the panel of it his eyes had noticed the form in the window. the light from the moon acted as if it was some sort of spotlight for her and he stood there ashamed as he watched her begin to shed her clothes. brice knew this was wrong and if it was literally anyone else he knew doing this he would have had a fit. no matter how ashamed and embarrassed he was at watching her strip off her clothing he just couldnt move. he was paralyzed at how truly beautiful her body was. brice couldnt say that he had ever noticed anything about her on such a intimate level. the thought of what she had looked like under her clothes had never once in his life crossed his mind. though as he stood there shamelessly like the man he was he couldnt peal his eyes off her. yet it hadnt stopped there. for the next several months brice had found himself almost waiting at the window to catch a glimpse of her again, not changing really though he did have to admit the pleasure he had gotten from that, but just to see her. he had loved watching her do simple things as just read a book. he had envied the way her fingers had flipped each and every page.
it was madness how he was feeling and he couldnt help but feel foolish. this was margot after all. out of every woman in the world he would have never guessed that he would be thinking of how her deliciously plumped lips would taste pressed against his or how she would look underneath him. it made him feel disgusting. this wasnt him he had been raised a hell of a lot better than to be like that. brice had prided himself in being a gentleman as there wasnt many of them still left around.
tonight he had tried his best to forget what he had seen the night before however it had played over and over like an annoying song stuck in your head. ellis had once again convinced them they needed to have a party and regardless of how brice hated them he was never one to say no. though tonight his anxiety had only been even more peaked when he had noticed the femme walk right into their front door and brice nearly spilled his drink. he had to look like an idiot he had never once acted this way in front of her. as he moved through the crowd to refill his drink it didnt take long until the two had been face to face. "marg..." he softly said. "i swear it is so weird seeing you at these."
