Smiling brightly, Gen began to scrawl her signature in silver Sharpie onto the 8x10 poster of It's Human Nature! before she stopped herself. A half hour of autograph signing like a robot could do this to you—make you stumble on the routine every once in a while.
She always told herself she wouldn't become one of those celebrities (even that word gave her the ick. Surely there was another term for someone local, more down to earth?) who blindly went about meeting their fans. She wanted every interaction to be genuine and personal. After all, her show—despite being one of the very things to revitalize this area of Nevada—was still a "program for the people."
She looked up at the fan. "Anybody specific I should make it out to?"
