luka had been out and about all afternoon going over a couple of things with a group who was looking to volunteer within in the park. they had been looking into ways to make a safer habitat for the turtles who would be laying their eggs soon enough. by the time he had gotten back to the office he had forgotten it was their half of day and the rest of his employees had already headed home for the day. finishing up a couple calls and filing some paperwork he had decided it was time to call it a night. he always got so invested in his work that time gets away from him. making his way through the building he had shut off all the lights and locked the door only to see a car pull up. a slight smile played on his lips as he was always excited to see people pull up to the building regardless of time. "i'm sorry-" he said from afar. "we are closed up for the day.. but maybe i can help you." he suggested.

Watching the snow slowly fall Marinette grinned as a couple landed on her face. The flakes weren’t huge, just enough to leave a light layer to the ground. “It looks like it’s breaking up.” Marinette observed, head tilted towards the sky. @bluehaircouffaine​

He’s surprised to say the least, seeing Luka loitering around the garden area outside. Mostly because, when pondered, Yuki realizes he never sees Luka unless Luka is actively seeking him. Hardly ever any time together outside the public eye—Yuki can’t even say with surety exactly where the room Luka must have is actually at. Sheer curtains sway as he watches the spot of black in the garden move around.

Yuki’s never had the best sleeping habits. By now he’s sure most of the mansion is aware of his bad schedule, and it isn’t as though he’s going to be getting sleep anytime soon. So, in spite of the late hour, Yuki heads down to the garden.

In truth, Yuki spends a lot of his free time right here, among the carefully cultivated flowers and meticulously lined brushes. A sense of serenity fills this place at night, pallid light painting the flowers pale. Quiet, so quiet—the Mansion sleeps or otherwise rests and here, the shadows don’t stretch their terrifying claws. No, this place is always a peaceful respite when his room closes in on him.

He knows Luka likely sees him coming a mile away, perhaps hears or feels him, more accurately. But Yuki still waves when he gets close enough. “Luka, it’s really late—you haven’t retired for the night?” The same could easily be asked of him.

“I think I have everything here for the cookies, I only dropped by the store for the more obvious ingredients.” she called out speaking more to herself as her voice trailing off in a happy hum. Rolling her sleeves up Marinette smiled saying, “ You ready?” @bluehaircouffaine

"Yeah? Interesting and what does this imagination do? Marinette said as she tried to contain her smile. How they got onto the this topic was a surprise to her. But all the same she wanted to hear Luka's answer. @bluehaircouffaine

Smiling at the view Marinette held her drink in hand. It was exciting and terrifying, some of her best and worst decisions were made by these two emotions. Tapping her foot Marinette brighten at seeing him, "Luka!" @bluehaircouffaine
