The cool light of the moon was soothing to her, unlike much else these days. Yet there was a magnificent stillness to the world around Calista where she sat, studying the movement of the water from the large fountain and admiring the reflection and light of the moon as it fell on the movable surface. In truth she was trying to find some peace and tranquility, knowing that if she didn’t the chances were very high of her loosing her mind all together. The party had been a total bust. Her mother had no idea who she was for some reason and none of it made any sense to her. The pain of staring into the eyes of someone you had searched your whole immortal life for, and seeing no recognition what so ever there.. she didn’t have words for it. It was too great a pain to even begin describe.
A sudden shadow falling over the water made the blonde look up, an annoyed quip on her lips about to be spoken, though dying as her eyes locked on the person standing not too far away. “YOU!” she all but shouted in shock, staring wide eyed and quite frankly, a bit horrified. “H-How.. you.. I killed your lying ass!” Her last words turning into a snarl as she stared at her very alive aunt with mixed emotions. How the hell was this bitch here!?
