The cover illustration by Masao Satake for my book,
" The Infamous Aircraft of the World Vol.11". The same C.714 No.6 of GC.I/145 is now shot down by a Bf109E.

The Caudron C.714, a magnificent 1938 fighter with the lines of a racing plane. It was the most advanced French light fighter in the search for a low cost compatible with war production. unfortunately, too fragile and poorly armed, it did not last long in the French air force.
