She absolutely can’t get enough of him.

Besides something like a shipwreck or fatal battle, she’s terrified he’ll start to take his upcoming title to the extreme and leave her behind without him.

The way his smile curls upward and crinkles the corners of his eyes when he’s truly happy.

Would my muse sacrifice themselves for yours?:  

I don’t think Catlina would sacrifice herself for anyone, even Avitej. She would fight like hell to get him out of a bad situation but all she really knows is survival and whatever happened, he would want her to live and she knows that too.

Well possibly. If he was spoiling her with stargazing. LOL of course.

Primka. Eri might have slipped in as her best friend and soulmate but Avitej is her twin flame and her true love.

😤 - something about your muse that makes mine angry

It’s easy to make Cat angry, though it usually passes fairly quickly. But one thing that does grate on her is knowing that once he’s the archduke, he expects their relationship to stay the same. But ultimately, she knows (and he does too) that it will have to change. And he hasn’t spoken of it yet. And she knows there might be an easy solution (like being his mistress at court or whatnot) but she can’t get to the point where she’ll consider that and what it means for her because he refuses to acknowledge change. So in that way alone, he makes her feel stuck because she doesn’t want to be a madame or a courtesan forever but if she leaves then there’s absolutely no chance of a future with him in it.

😰- something about your muse that worries mine Every time he goes on his week, three week, a few months long benders across the world, she worries and frets. She knows it’s foolish and silly but she wants him to be safe and to come back to her. 👍- something that my muse approves about your muse or thought they have done very well 

Even though Avitej has a sense of entitlement because he was born a noble, he doesn’t treat people like Cat as lesser. At least that she’s seen. He’s never treated her or any of the girls like they were worthless and has always valued them and their hard work, and she believes he does with other people who work hard as well. So she approves of the way he treats his people.

📺- what show my muse thinks yours will enjoy watching (together, or just in general)

I actually feel like they’d watch either detective shows together (and yell at the tv at the stupidity of the characters) and rom coms. And they’d both love it. And then probably fuck on the couch after.

Avitej is incredibly dangerous and she sees his untapped potential and knows that if he wanted to he could become one of the most powerful leaders in the world. He has the best navy in the world and an exceptionally loyal crew. If he just accepted his fate instead of raging against it, she believes he could change the world.

"are you saying this doesn’t turn you on?"

Catlina gaped at Avitej, clad in one of her frillier outfits. He’d stretched it to its limit trying to get into it. “When you put it that way...” She laughed, a hearty, bellowing laugh from deep in her belly. Thank Kata the waist was just tied so it hadn’t snapped. He wasn’t a large man by any stretch but he still dwarfed her slight frame. And the top... well that had been more of a squeeze. Padded cups made of a soft red fabric with sequins and gold trim, matching the different reds and golds of the layered chiffon skirt. Thank the gods the top tied too. Though really, she could always just have another made.

“When I said you’d look better than me in it I didn’t mean you should challenge me.” She laughed again, drawing near him to reach around and deftly untie the top around his neck. With a giggle, she untied the bottom strings and pulled it from him, tossing it aside.

And he was right, in some ways it did make her heart and stomach do somersaults. But not in the ways he thought. Laughing with him like that, being able to be silly and let their guards down, let their walls down. Well... her walls, he had much shorter walls that she had easily scaled. That was what drove her wild. Catlina pulled him toward her, snaking her arms around his waist, catching him in a deep kiss. “It’s good to know that if you ever want out of the archduke life... you have a few professions to fall back on. Dancing, acting perhaps, definitely prostitution. I’d be your biggest customer.”

Cat looked over her shoulder at Avitej as she gathered up some cloths to stop the bleeding. He’d knocked over a wine bottle and cut himself in the process. Hopefully it was shallow and just looked worse than it was. Cleaning off the worst of it, there was still a little trickle along the slice down his thumb. Without thinking, Cat brought his hand to her lips and pressed her tongue to the cut.

“How does my blood taste, little Catlina?”

Her dark gaze fluttered up to meet his and she pulled her lips back, holding the cloth tightly around the cloth. “Like wine.” She purred, which could have meant any number of things.
