[IMG TEXT: This is why I stray away from the term 'feminism' because a lot of people (especially people who identify as women and/or were brought up as one) hide behind it as an excuse for their misandry.]
misandry isnt real, men dont face systemic oppression for being men.
saying "men should die" is pretty harmless in comparison to the global trends of women being more likely to be murdered by a partner or family member, of reproductive rights being rolled back, of this constant demeaning of womens intelligence and autonomy with this "uwu im just a girl" social media shit, etc etc
if feminists not being nice to men makes you not want to be a feminist, youre just a loser. like sorry i gotta say this. the thing with activism is sometimes you gotta ask yourself if youre uncomfortable, why youre uncomfortable, and if that discomfort is something to actually heed or if its just a subconscious bias to work through. and clearly it hasnt been done here. i got secondhand embarrassment reading that post
why is it "identifies as women"? either you are a woman or you arent- applicable to cis and trans women alike. neither identifies as a women, they just are women. this "identifies as" shit is language that downplays the existence of trans ppl.
