“—Hey, yeah, I’m on my way back now,” Louis spoke into the phone, taking a tug from his cigarette. The cold winter wind was nipping at his exposed collarbones as he made his way toward the car that was waiting for him at the other side of the building. His newest in a long string of sitters, Jen, seemed nice enough. He just hoped this one lasted. He couldn’t rely on the kindness of his friends forever. “Mm, yeah, don’t worry about that. I’ll pick up a pizza on my way home,” He assured, his gaze dropping to the ground as the ignored the incessant camera flashes and noise that always seemed to follow him nowadays. After his abduction, more people seemed to be interested in him than ever, which was disgruntling to say the least since it was the time he’s felt the most like he needed space. He was so caught up between his phone call and trying to duck away from the paps that he didn’t catch himself roughly colliding shoulders with another person. He turned immediately. “Jen, I’ll call you back,” He said, pressing the silence button on his phone before turning his attention to the other person. “Hey, man, my bad. I wasn’t looking—Oh.” Oh. Any sincere apology fled his face when he saw who it was. “Stan, it’s you.” @adeptstan
