it was pretty normal for them to have frequent sleepovers after they had been rescued. even if they couldn't always articulate their trauma, having someone who got it was special. even now, the night before shauna was getting married to jeff, taissa was still by her side. she nudges her friend, eyebrows raised as they settled down for the night, "you doing alright? big day tomorrow...it's okay to be nervous, you know." she had become pretty good at reading shauna within the last couple of years and there was a part of her that knew that even with her excited exterior, it must be hard on her. tai has already purged the guest list, making sure there wasn't anybody who would cause any drama and she was confident in knowing that she did all she can do to ensure her best friend had the normal day that she's had in years.
