Oh I love them so much
completely, utterly, unendingly obsessed with how he says it
brb i have to cry for 3-5 business days at pike talking to scanlan through her earring at the end of every day 😭😭😭
Taryon asking Keyleth if she has a manservant who brushes her hair at night, and Vax in the background like, "Hi, it's me. I'm the manservant".
It's canon. Vax brushes Keyleth's hair every night.
A mortal’s plea to a god (C1E94) || A (kind-of) god’s plea to a mortal (C2E94)
It really is always such a treat when Ashley Johnson shows up. My idea of Pike when she is away like this sweet hardworking cleric that is their moral compass. Then she shows up and I remember she is all those things but also almost a mini Grog at times. And now starting a flirting competition between Grog and Tary then immediately regretting it. And it gave us this exchange.
Tary “you do know my rod can be anything.”
Grog “so can mine, baby”
And that’s only at the beginning of this conversation
Edit: oh my goodness how did this end up unlocking Tary’s tragic backstory?
I do appreciate the ladies asking for clarification on how old his tutor was and how old he was.
But I love this coming out story for Tary and it being tied to him thinking he should be into women because all the adventures in his books were into women, representation!
sometimes i go back to campaign one episodes to try and find a thing and get distracted by how much i love these kids and just start watching episodes, and i just.... this is such a powerful percy line, taliesin is honestly so quick when it comes to wordplay like this
[ID: screenshots from episode 94 of campaign one, with captions, keyleth says “the voice of the tempest is overruling you on this one”, percy responds with “i’m appealing beyond the voice of the tempest, to the heart of the storm”]
so you’d think that a line like this would be in an actual significant moment where it has weight, but no, they’re both just sitting in a tavern getting drunk and percy’s trying to get the scrying orb off her to scry on scanlan without telling anyone that’s what he’s doing so they all assume he wants to scry on tary having sex and keyleth’s literal response is to put her fingers in her ears and go “the voice can’t hear you! the voice is going to have to take a message” which prompts percy to go “the voice used to be fun, is all i’m saying” and they’re all disasters
“Scanlan...I know you can’t hear me”
