Thanksgiving: Is the expression of gratitude, especially to God. An attitude of gratitude Are we people that Give Thanks or are we people expecting to be thanked? Are we people that Give Thanks or are we people living for thanks? We live in a world that runs on accolades, compliments and praise. Don’t get me wrong accolades and compliments are good but have they become what we live for? It’s been said that if we live for man’s compliments, then we will die from their criticism. Living a life of Thanksgiving changes everything. We no longer have to live to be good enough for mans compliments and hope we’ll be noticed. But rather we can live with the assurance of knowing as David said time and time again, “Give thanks because He is Good and His steadfast love endures forever”. We can live knowing when God created us He said we are Very Good. Friend, you are Very Good and God loves you and has an incredible life for you. My prayer is that you know that this Thanksgiving season.
