strides sure and sharp, the lady sif made their way through this quaint little market in the strange settlement surrounding their new home, head cocked faintly as they listened for anything to draw their attention. she had been warned that there was very little knowledge about her kind -- a disparaging term if she had ever heard one! -- and so, she had reluctantly allowed herself to be removed from her armour and dressed in midgardian attire.
she could not say she was a fan. still, hidden beneath the long black coat they now wore, stjarnahyarr’s familiar weight brushed their hip, only partially suspicious looking.
it was a risk they were willing to take.
still, as she walked past a small stall, something caught her eye -- a tiny little artefact that lesser eyes would have skimmed straight over.
not the lady sif’s. no, she had perfect vision and a mind as sharp as her blade.
“ excuse me, friend! ” she called to the proprietor.
“ where did you happen to find this peculiar object? ” sif’s head tilted in curiosity, a curtain of night-blackened hair falling over their shoulder as they did so.
