location: oliver’s abode @alli-pellisier
Landon didn’t work out as the house keeper, which was fine. They worked... other things out. Things that Oliver had thought about over his two weeks back at home every night when he was alone, unfortunately. It was totally fucked up that they had to end on those terms, but Oliver wasn’t going to let it bother him. Instead, he figured that maybe he’d start therapy-- really starting to better himself in his life, really start to enhance what he had as an adult. Maybe that would have been better. Until that happened, he was going to vent to Alli about it, who had decidedly helped him out at the last minute. As soon as he told her that Landon’s help had fallen through, she immediately hopped on the opportunity. He told her he’d fill her in on everything when he got back, and while he dreaded that, he knew that he’d have to stay true to his promise.
As Oliver walked through the door, he heard the pitter-patter of small paws running towards the door. One more dog had greet him than he was used to, as he bent down to pet the small paws and faces that met him at the door. “Hi guys, where’s Alli?” He stood up and walked into the living room where he met with the blonde.
“Hey,” Oliver smiled at his friend-- he hoped she didn’t kill any of his fake plants. “Thank you so much for doing this last minute, I really appreciate it more than you know.” Oliver sighed out, feeling a bit drained from the traveling and leaving his family once again. It never really got easier, but he was glad that he wasn’t too far away. “You’re a lifesaver.”
