WHO: Ludovic Bagman and Cassandra Wilkes WHEN: Saturday, March 18th, 1978. WHERE: The Room of Requirement
He couldn’t even remember why they were throwing the party anymore, only that he needed to find her. He often had a one track mind on the best of days, but this was just something else entirely. His head was so heady, so full of emotion, that he thought he would fall over from the weight of it all. There weren’t many words in his thoughts, only red and pictures of her face. He pushed his way through the guests, knocking snogging couples and all out of the way, until he found her by the wall.
He walked slowly, like he was in a trance, stopping in front of her. “Wow.” He said, reaching thoughtlessly for her hands and grabbing them in his. “Look at you.” @cassandrawilkes

Hearing the knock on her door, Odessa turned her gaze away from her wand and towards the closed door. “It’s locked.” She called out, going back to idly fiddling with the long wooden stick. The witch made no effort to go and unlock the door, nor did she care to. In fact, she’d rather they just leave.

As soon as she walked in through the door, he was looking at her, finding her attractive from the get go. A moment later she sat herself at one of the tables in the common room, and only a few seconds later was he rising from his own table he’d been sat at. Bolstered by a rather endless supply of self-confidence, he approached her and turned a chair around before sitting himself in it next to her, leaning his arms on the back of it. “Gunnarr,” he began simply. “And you might be?”

It was chaos as usual in the Wilde household, and Pippa tried to navigate the mass of bodies that seemed to congregate in the small kitchen as she made dinner for the family. Music blasted in the kitchen, offset by the sound of Cameron and Matty playing their video games in the front room. “Ally! Come get Ginger out from under my feet please, oh hey Cam catch--” she added as a last minute thing to her youngest brother, tossing his gym bag at him as Ally came flying into the kitchen to grab Ginger by the collar and lead the old lab out of the kitchen.
Jack, the oldest boy in the family, came strolling in and ruffled Cameron’s hair as he caught the gym bag and threw it over his shoulder, glancing over Pippa’s shoulder to the back door where their father was sleeping on the porch step -- having been dropped off just a half hour earlier. “Want me to bring him in?” Jack asked, nodding his head to the unconscious older man. “No.” came Pippa’s reply, “Cassie’s coming over, I don’t want him stinking the house out.”
As if conjured the doorbell rang and she glanced up, “Someone get that please?!” she asked, and Matthew, the middle Wilde, slouched towards the door where he merely opened it and saw his sister’s friend on the other side. “Cassies here!” he called, and promptly ditched the door. Grabbing the bottle of wine she bought special from the fridge, she peered her head around the corner and grinned, “Hey, c’mon in scuse the mess. I swear I tidied up.” she opened the bottle, “Wine? I’m having some, I need it.”

The Annual Tree Lighting festival was one of Emma’s favourite events in town and this year was definitely going to be no exception, with Emma already looking forward to the Holidays as she called up her usual go to person to enjoy these things with. “Thank you for coming with me to this.” she began as she linked her arm through Cassie’s and glanced about at the Christmas Lights, “Two questions, hot chocolate or cider? And, what ornament are you putting on the tree?”

Avery pottered about her office, trying not to think about the damage she’d cause at this year’s halloween event; and thinking about how she was sure to ruin it again next year with her penchant for getting in trouble. With how quiet the store was today, it was easy to spot a familiar face. “You look like I need a drink.” Avery said as she popped out of her office with two beers in hand, passing Cassie one of them once she reached her.

Cassandra opened up an in-home bake shop after Marco was born, taking online/call in orders or selling to people in the neighborhood. She missed working in the bakery but with only herself to take care of her son she knew she couldn’t go back to work the ridiculous hours she worked in an actual bakery so instead, she made her own from home. At least this way she would be able to look after Marco if he started crying in the middle of the night and it was a good excuse for her to be awake or distracted when she was up in the middle of the night missing Leo.
For every “★” I get, I will post a fact about my characters.
