“You can’t beat a rainy day when you have warm blankets, a cup of tea, and a book to tie it all together.”
Jean stood in the middle of the room, waving his wand around doing spell after spell -- the easy and the difficult. Yet, nothing worked. “Well, that’s it. It’s gone.” He sighed. “I knew this wizard stuff was some silly joke...”
“Ever had something on the tip of your tongue, but the harder you try to remember it, the more it slips away?”

After having seen Octavia on his way to the station with the ministry officials, Alec knew that he would have to find her and explain. And, to be honest, the way his mind was spiralling out of control with questions and uncertainties, she was one of the only people he actually wanted to talk to. That would sound odd to most given how abrupt she usually was. But, he couldn’t help that feeling. The only problem was that he was having a terribly difficult time finding the brunette. He had tried her place, as well as the places she frequented and places they had been together. There was no sign of her. It was like she had disappeared off the face of the earth. The next day, Alec checked Octavia’s place again to no avail, but just when he was about to give up, he caught sight of her rounding the corner. He moved toward her. “Tavia.” He called out, attempting to catch up with her.
“I’m going to kill someone, I swear to Merlin, someone is going to die today.” Mary seethed as she rattled the door handle to her apartment which she’d conveniently locked herself out of.
