There's almost a pained look on Erik's face as he carries Luca towards the cabins. "Do not-... please stop talking. Close your eyes." He tells him. "I will get you help."

Miles had gone to talk with Laurel, leaving Emilia alone. She got a drink and took a walk, tired from dancing for a while. Emilia was always a curious person, maybe that’s why she ended up in the woods. She had seen something, and Emilia being her curious self followed it. Everything happened so fast. Before she knew it, she felt a pain in her side, blood dripping from it. Emilia stumbled away from her attacker. A werewolf? Why was there a werewolf right now? It wasn’t a full moon. It went in again, this time Emilia screamed, trying to get away, but to no avail.

“Hey, I can cook. This isn’t a fair example.” Lorna scraped the burnt food into the bin, waving her hand to open the window and clear some of the smoke. “I got distracted, alright?” Really, she was a far better cook than she was a baker, but she’d tried her hand at it again after a training session at the mansion. Not her wisest choice perhaps, given how exhausting it seemed controlling her new powers were. Especially given how little she was sleeping these days.
Despite her upbeat tone, however, she felt a pang of something darker inside. Maybe not through cooking, but between their family they did seem to cause a lot of chaos. She tried to keep the smile on her face, but with her back to Erik, she did glance around the kitchen of the mansion. If anything was going to bring this place down... Maybe her dad wasn’t so far from the truth. She couldn’t imagine any of them wanting that, but since when had that truly mattered? The universe found a way.

He was meditating. Maybe snacking a little bit too. “Something like that.” He replied with a laugh. He pulled his chips from the other side of him to reveal them to her. “Meditations comes in many forms.”

“Yes, music does seem to soothe the soul. Perhaps that is why I was so drawn to it as a child,” Christine replied. “I can’t imagine life without music at all.”

“Привет, эрик,” Klara says, standing in the door to his office. “Ты занят?” Since being adopted by Logan, Klara still tried to make an effort to see Charles and Erik. The two men had done a lot to help her, and she still liked being around them.

Lorna was unsurprised to hear that Erik had made it here. He was a survivor, through and through. And he passed much of that on, it seemed. She was more surprised to hear about his role here. She’d heard how he helped raise the walls, which was far less surprising than hearing how he brought back mutant and human survivors alike. Lorna wasn’t sure when she’d ever heard him say a good word about humans.
Knowing now that he and Billy were the only members of her family here, and that Marcos or Sonya or the other Underground members she’d lost weren’t here either, she’d sought Erik out. What she walked in on was the end of one of his classes. She stood in the doorway, watching. It was hard not to miss university, her geophysics degree. No matter how many times she’d complained about it, she’d finished the undergrad. Just before the outbreak, she’d started her Masters part time.
But there was something else distracting her from anything her father was saying. He looked far younger than she remembered. It was still him, but it wasn’t. And certainly not what she’d expected. He looked less than ten years older than her.
“Never thought I’d see you as a teacher,” she said to Erik as the kids filed out. “Not like this anyway.”

heart fluttered with excitement, steps quick as she ventured down the many halls of the castle. for the past weeks the notion of joy was nothing but an illusion, plagued by misfortune and tragedy. her mind had only sulked into the depths of darkness, clouded by her own judgement. it was rare for such joy to display on the woman, yet for a slight moment all ills were forgotten. it would be the arrival of her brother, to be the cause for such a good mood. but her youngest brother, she estimated far too much. upon their mother’s passing, she felt as though it was her duty to care for her youngest siblings. they had the misfortune to lose their mother too young, and it certainly did not help that their father was now gone as well. knuckles tapped on wooden doors, before making her way in into her brother’s chambers. “ lillebror ? ”
