Hi, hello. I’m still alive. I’ve just been busy with school and real life. Things got a little crazy, and they still are. I don’t know when I’ll be back to regular activity but I am going to try to get things going at least a little bit coming up here soon. I’m sorry if you’ve been waiting for something from me.

raoul returns the nod with a soft smile, before looking to the kettle as it whistles, the noise catching him off guard; he was much too busy focusing on christine (as he tends to). he takes the mug, expression tender. “thank you darling.” and then his smile widens as she speaks, as she talks about their life together. “to a life together,” he replies, mug held towards hers for a commemorative cheer. “may it always be filled with as much love as i feel for you right now.”
“Love and happiness,” Christine added. Perhaps they were only given a certain amount of joy in life, but she could manage the not so happy bits so long as he was with her. She was quite certain that together they could work through anything. “For as long as we live.”

He should not feel as caught off guard at each statement she makes in regards to what they did the night before. After all, this was Christine, and Christine was his everything, and luckily she was the only other person in the room. No one was hear to listen on their conversation about what took place after the candles went dark. But it just felt strange for her to be talking about it so comfortably. He enjoyed their night together, but Raoul was a sensitive soul, and it was not the easiest thing to talk so openly. He let out a nervous chuckle. “ I-I’m glad you will look forward to future nights like last nights. I - I will be looking forward to them to. ” Raoul wished deeply that he would not be so awkward about this topic in the future.
Christine found it all the more endearing the way he was responding. She wrapped her arms gently around his neck as she looked up at him. “I should hope so,” she replied, smiling. “But perhaps you would be more comfortable with a change of topic.”

“I don’t,” said the Phantom, voice uncharacteristically gentle. She didn’t know, couldn’t know, how much she had impacted him. He had created before, yes, but he didn’t think he had created anything near as good as since he had met her. She was his muse.
Christine couldn’t do much in response aside from stare at him. Truly, she didn’t think she deserved as much credit. In fairness, it had been he who caused her ascent at the Opera. “Oh,” her voice was quiet, as she looked away. “Alright then.”

Her lighthearted giggles are what made this all so real. Despite all that they have gone through, they still found happiness with each other. And they were going to spend the rest of their lives together. He remember how he used to dream of this when they were younger.
“ Christine. ” His voice was soft and gentle as he squeezed her hands. His heart swelled as he nodded his head along with her words. “ Oh, yes. ” The blonde smiled as his blue eyes stared into her’s. “ We will have a beautiful life. And as long as I am living and my your side, I will make sure you life is long and happy and full of everything you ever dreamed. You just say the word Christine, and I will do anything for you. ”
And to think that by the end of the day tomorrow they would be married. “ I’ll have to leave a letter for Philippe before we leave tomorrow… but other than that, I should have no trouble arranging everything else. ”
Christine wasn’t quite sure how she might’ve gotten through the past events that had happened if Raoul hadn’t been by her side. Certainly, she would be much less happy and much more concerned with her own safety. But not when he was with her.
“So long as you are by my side, I shall be happy.” She couldn’t stop the smile that was on her face - that had yet to leave her face since they had spoken of their now very real, and very soon to be, elopement.
At the mention of her beloved’s brother, the smile started to falter. She knew the man did not approve of her ( at all, really ) and she wondered if Raould could truly be alright going against the man’s wishes. “You are absolutely certain?”

“I’m classically trained, you know.” Glinda continued to sip her drink, feigning modesty. “My mother thought it would help me attract more suitors…unfortunately, I’ve found that most men don’t particularly care to hear my voice.”
Or in her case, at least, they didn’t need to. Her face and dowry were more than enough to draw mischiefs of well-bred men to her doorstep. Anything beyond that, be that a mind or interests of any sort were more often than not inconsequential.
“You sounded just lovely.”
Christine’s brow raised as she listened to the blonde speak. “Do you enjoy it?” she asked, finding some topic in it. She was only too familiar with drawing men through her voice ( and it hadn’t been good in her experience. )
“Thank you.” A genuine smile came to her face at the woman’s compliment. “I have been rehearsing that piece for months, so I’m glad to hear it was well-received.”

The infamous violinist smiled brightly at his daughter. Hearing his daughter sing tonight had brought tears to his eyes. Oh, how talented his lovely daughter was. “ When I heard you sing, I swear I thought I heard the voice of an angel. ” He admitted to her honestly. “ You were simply, seraphic. ”
Christine could not help but feel like a young girl again as she heard her father’s words. “Oh, thank you.” Her smile spread wide over her face. She felt lighter on her feet than she ever had before, though she was tired after the performance. “I can hardly believe it. This feels like a dream.”

Something touched Erik’s face that could, had it graced a normal man’s face, be called a smile. The man’s lips were thin, though, nearly nonexistent, and the face was covered, making a smile seem as ghastly as the rest of what crossed his face. “If it is beautiful, it is because of your inspiration, Christine.”
Christine chuckled, shaking her head gently at his words. “You give me too much credit.” She certainly believed she had very little to do with the composer’s genius. After all, he had written long before she had sung for his music.

oh, that would be delightful, wouldn’t it? to be children again, to be carefree with christine, the only thing mattering being where they’ll find the next story they can listen to. but now they have responsibilities, lives and concerns, and he has to actually consider the fact that being christine is not what he is meant to do. “i would just as much regret not being with you, dear heart. i wish there were an easy choice.”
“If only it were that simple,” Christine spoke out, her voice soft. She doubted there would ever be an easy choice in life. Perhaps when they were children it had seemed that way, but not now. Now when there were so many voices telling them what they should be doing. “But you are the one with so much to lose, so I cannot make this decision.” She reached up a hand to cup his cheek. “No matter how much I may want to.”

“so am i.” it’s incredibly easy to relax with christine; any time he’s with her, raoul feels as though any problem, any weight on his shoulders, have dissipated. as though there is nothing else in the world but the two of them. “well, i, personally, think anything we do together is delightful.”
“Good.” Christine had always loved their time together, had always felt safer when he was around. She couldn’t exactly put her finger on the reasoning behind it, but she knew she would hate to ever be separated from him. “Yes, everything we do together is delightful.”

he loves to see her smile, and to make her smile is, in his opinion, the best thing he’ll ever accomplish. her smile could light up the entire opera house, the whole of paris, all on its own. his expression is soft as he looks at her, and he presses a gentle kiss to her forehead. “i love you, christine.”
“And I love you,” Christine replied. A giggle filled the otherwise quiet room as she softly shook her head. How was it possible she could feel like a giddy little schoolgirl and yet know it was so much more than just an innocent crush? “I don’t believe I could ever stop, either.”

he nods in agreement, moving to sit down next to her. he squeezes her hands, focusing on her as he takes a deep, grounding breath. he and christine are having a child! and beneath his nerves, his fear, he truly is excited. he’ll give their child everything in the world. “i would hope so,” he replies, leaning in to press a kiss to her forehead. “however, i think you’ll be an excellent mother.”
Christine had her fears, of course. Who should not? For nothing in life came easy, but there was no reward without risk. And so long as she followed her doctor’s orders, so long as she listened to those who knew, everything should be fine. And she would raise a child with the man she loved and all would be full of love and life. “I hope so. I admittedly do not remember my own, so I pray I do not fail.”
Christine (to Meg): You know how men are. They think “No” means “Yes” and “Get lost” means “Take me, I’m yours.”
Erik (behind the mirror): *scoffs* Can you believe her?

Hello beautiful people! First off, thank you to everybody who deals with me being incredibly slow with replies. My year so far has not been a great one, but some great things have happened. Like I am starting a period roleplay group (which is one reason why I’ve had some inactive spurts here, I switched focus for a bit). It would mean so much to me if you guys would check it out ( @regnumrp ) or send the link to people who you think might be interested in it. I will still be here, and should finish the rest of the replies I have within the next couple of days, but it’ll mean the world to me to see some of you check us out over there.
