It was an unusual thing for him to do. In fact, Harry had only ever done this a handful of times in the past, but given the fact that he himself had been allowed to train on the job, he understood the benefits of giving somebody permission to forgo the off-duty training process. Especially when that somebody had proven to be very talented in their field. Leah had completed a year abroad, and he had been sent regular updates telling him just how impressive her performance was. Now that she was back on English soil, the skills she had learned were incredibly clear to him. He was tired, and stressed, and though he would never admit it, a little scared. He knew the letter, the attack on Albus, was the very beginning. He had seen war, he understood how it started, the warning signs. All of which were present now. They needed more Aurors, new Aurors. People who could help, who had a lot to offer the department. Shuffling some papers on his desk, he leaned back in his seat. He had sent somebody to fetch Leah for him, and now there was nothing he could do but wait upon her arrival. @leah-proudmore
