The shadow of him still haunted her. It didn’t happen as often now than it used to but she often thought she saw him, only to realize it was someone else completely who stood in front of her. Usually, she’d realize she was just seeing things after she did a double take. But he remained this time. Her chest tightened at the sight of him. Her Ming Yi, in the flesh. And he seemed to be walking over to where she was.

She couldn’t fathom how this could be possible. The memory of his death was still so fresh. The pain of his loss never did go away. The guilt still festered, even more so when she had to face his family after the fact. By the time he’d made it to where she was, anger was what settled. Li Jiao usually had a hold on her emotions. But usually that was when she could rationalize situations. She couldn’t help herself as her fist made contact with his chest, surely knocking out the air out of the man’s lungs. “How dare you lie to me like that,” she breathed out, noticing her breath had begun to hitch and her eyes were welling with tears.

wait so i just started s2 of snowpiercer the other day and i have a question: what do you think the story line for lj and alex is going to be like? cause i don't understand if they're going for friendship (or fake frienship and lj using alex) or romance i'm so confused by their interactions atm lmao

Honestly, I don’t know whether they will go with friendship or relationship. I’m hoping for relationship but I don’t wanna hold out any hope.

As for LJ using Alex, I really don’t think she is. Everyone is looking at her as this manipulative villain (which tbf is true) but people also forget she’s also a teenage girl who has lost her parents and everything she knew and now someone she was frenemies with pre-freeze is here and wants to spend time with her. Maybe she will dump her or use her to get power but I really don’t think that’s her main goal right now because, as much as she wouldn’t say it, she’s hurting over the loss of her parents.

I personally love the relationship blooming between LJ and Alex, romantic or not, and I’m excited to see where it goes.
