“We should get one of those ridiculous banana boats, just to say we did.” he hummed, eyes skimming over the options lined up before them. The sheer over-the-top mountain of toppings looked more like a challenge than dessert. “They cram everything into one of those,” he went on, amusement flickering across his features. “And I’m down to try and demolish it… if you’re in.” His grin widened, already daring her to say no.

Jace opened up the letter, gasping lightly. "Lucy, oh my god," he said, holding out the paper to his girlfriend. "I got it. I got the job working on the research with blood malediction."

"Woah... Well that's just... Well it's a lot isn't it." Noah asked the woman, clearly attempting to clarify whether it was just him that was getting completely overwhelmed in the environment or whether someone else felt the same. "It's nice to be able to hear again though... well kind of anyway... right now my ears are still ringing.

"We should bring some brownies to Gabe and the other bartenders when they're done," Harper suggested. "Maybe put a few in there for Natalya. I gotta admit she's pretty cool. Plus, she seems pretty edgy, which is funny because she feels like the complete opposite to Gabe's ex."

Jace had the day off, so he spent it getting a romantic dinner ready for him and Lucy while she was at work. They had gone to the Valentine's Day party, so it was like a late Valentine's Day dinner. Jace was finishing dinner when he heard the door. "Oh, you're home early," he said, smiling slightly at her. "I was meant to be done when you got home. But, it will be done in about ten minutes, if you're okay with that?"

"Lucy... Woah..." Theo couldn't help but say in shock when he saw the woman. It wasn't that he was unaware that she was a beautiful girl but she'd really outdone herself this evening. "You look like a Princess." He complimented softly, taking her hand in his own and bending to give it a kiss.

Jace always struggled during this event, having lost his mom shortly after this same event back during his years at Hogwarts, but it helped being around the people he loved, especially Lucy, she always had a way of making some dark times brighter. Jace twirled Lucy gently on the dance floor. Jace gave her a soft kiss, holding her close. "You want to take a break?" he asked. "Get something to drink?"
