you’re so entirely valid in your choice to remove your fics from tumblr. it’s always started as a safe haven here and then it somehow grows into something unrecognizable. i’ve been apart of a similar part of tumblr for the better part of 8 years and it’s an endless cycle of self worth questioning. you deserve to enjoy your writing and be in your own mindspace because all of that IS yours and no one else’s. you can’t allow anyone else to take that away from you. you come first in your life. i am honored that i got to read any of what you produced and i am glad to see you thrive with the choices you make 💙

truly. I’m sure you of all people know the stark difference in the site. I’ve been doing this writing thing before I was even 15 and lurked a bit before that. I’m 21 now. I’ve spent enough time on here to come to the realization that coming back for more is a form of self punishment and harm. And no one deserves that.
