LONG, SAPPY POST AHEAD: Today I gave a design talk and tour of the scene shop to a fairly large group of FAA Donors and other other audience members before Cabaret's matinee show. Of all the people in that room, I was most nervous about impressing my mom. Now, of course she's going to enjoy anything I do because she's my mother, but I have and will always show her my full potential by doing the best that I can do. So for the past week I've been racking my head mentally preparing and a rehearsing this particular presentation in front of the mirror. Interestingly enough, no matter how nervous I was while speaking to these people, I would take one look at her and feel at ease. My mom drove all this way in rainy weather, while being sick with coughing fits just to capture me in my zone. She even helped me out during today's photo call after the show. Her eyes gleamed as she witnessed me passionately speaking about my design, and she smiled as all the members of that group applauded me for my dedication and work on thus "beautiful design" after the presentation/tour. I see her smile, and I know she is proud. I love this woman with all my heart. Thank you, Mom.😭😍😘❤ #MyMomIsProudOfMe #ICriedWhileWritingThis #Cabaret #CabaretCSULB #LifeIsACabaret #CabretCalRep #CalRep #ScenicDesign #ScenicPainting #ScenicNatalie #Theatre #Wilkommen #Presentation #Thesis *Look for my next post with videos she took of my presentation.* (at CSULB - Theatre Arts Department) https://www.instagram.com/natalie.a.morales/p/BuiPsr_ngx7/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=89vvpv2l05ff
