#cabbage balls

i think a big part of why i grew up actually loving brussel sprouts is cause my grandmother would only ever refer to them as ‘cabbage balls’ and in my childhood mind it always gave me a rush of manic endorphins to be eating the children of another vegetable

looking back on it though, i think she was referring to something else
