Probably my favorite variation of his character is the Golden Retreiver BF because of all the lore we’ve gotten since day one.

he has an older sister

his parents are divorced but they both love us

he had a pair of box turtles as a kid named Thelma and Louise whom he and his sister won at the county fair but then lost one day while cleaning out the tank

he loves animals

he hid in the flatbed of his uncle’s truck one time when he was nine and his aunt and uncle were going to Canada and he really wanted to see and potentially pet a moose

he once snuck a pair of snakes into the car when he was a kid and he went with his mom and sister to a nature park

he once kept bees in his room, despite being horribly allergic

his sister hates cake but likes the lemon meringue pie he likes making for his family but lets them believe it’s hard so they don’t bug him to make it all the time

all his life he’s been obsessed with bladed weapons

he plays Baldur’s Gate and fucking hates Gale

he’s a fishing nerd, etc.
