Work, play, sleep Today was a KIT day. 'Keeping in Touch' at work. Maternity leave is a rollercoaster of emotions. Wanting to have grown up conversations and challenges. But the heart breaking divide when you leave the baby is a challenge in itself. Even if it is in the safe hands of daddy. But keeping in touch means I can do just that. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed walking to work, let alone anything that was ahead of me when I got there. Walking+no push chair=STEPS! It really is the simple things. On my return home I managed to squeeze in some cabin tidying. Rufus joined me and in the short stay he managed, drawing, writing, play dough and stamp prints! He is super multi-skilled, or slightly impatient. Then, I managed to get in some paper sewing. Now the Christmas gifts and cards have been made and sent (you will have to wait until post Christmas to see those) I can press on. I must find an exhibition location and date. Mum of 2-crack on!!! Tomorrow I plan to screen print. Fingers crossed for well behaved children to allow me to be creative!
