My example character design of a handpuppet for a kids workshop
I just need to DO! Settling back at work has been interesting. Challenges, fears, anxieties and passion for my job flow through me every day. But one key thing is to be. Teaching creative subjects is what I know but being creative myself is what I really love. The next few months building up resources has to start now... can you call it work when you love doing it?? Mark Petrovic: on teaching creativity
W H Y – H O W – W H A T
• If you just copy the HOW and the WHAT, you won’t have the WHY. • Understand WHY—develops the HOW and defines the WHAT.
Thinking, drawing, reassessing is a constant cycle.

“ There isn’t a plateau that you reach where you sit back and do nothing. You just have to continue. And the only way to continue is to be self-critical: Look at what you’ve done and come up with options that could have changed it. ”
Marc Petrovic and Life as a Teacher (American Craft Council)
