Sunday 7th July, we got a cable cart over to Lantau island. We went to visit the famous Buddha and monastery. I really enjoyed this day out as we went in a group who we had made friends with here in Hong Kong. At this point I was no longer home sick, I had made some really nice friends from around the world. I overcome my fear of heights being in the cable cart and also walking up 268 steps to get to the Buddha.
