Cleaning up an equipment rack
Original installers left quite a mess, and a couple years of minor modifications have only made things worse. Received a new piece of equipment to add to the system, but couldn't find the right cables for all the chaos. Ended up spending a few hours cleaning first.
It's not a particularly tidy rack, but at least it's better than it was. I'll have to come back to replace some of the cables that need one end soldered.
My desktop has been hitting me with a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION bluescreen occasionally when I kick or bump into it, and I’m beginning to suspect it’s something to do with the fact I’ve got the SATA cable for my boot drive held in place by a rubber band? I don’t know, though. I mean, we’ve all done that now and again, right?
