Drew some random Mario enemies and such, given to me by other peeps
Name: Caccac
Debut: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Cactus creatures! Aren’t they lovely! There’s so many out there and every single time I am delighted in their presence! I’m so glad creature designers have a universal fascination with Cactus enemies, otherwise we wouldn’t have cuties like Caccac!
Caccac looks like a sleepy barrel cactus, they have tiny orb feetsies, heavy-looking spiked arms, a pretty purple flower on top of their head, and most precious of all, a big orange honker!
Caccac are a very unique enemy, you will never see them on the overworld at all, instead, there’s a small chance they’ll be summoned in a battle after engaging a Flounderflage or a Sandoon.
HOWEVER, there are these cacti in the overworld that kinda look like Caccac, are these Caccac trying to avoid Mario and Luigi through mimicry? That could explain why you can’t fight them directly. I’m unto you suspicious-looking cactus...
When you do encounter one in a fight, they won’t attack you at all! Unless you attack them first! Evidence is mounting to Caccac being a peaceful species trying to avoid battle as much as possible :)
If you do attack them they’ll get angry, and attack you back the exact number of times you hit them, they keep track of every single one of your violent acts.
They attack by flinging pieces of... themselves? They throw little cactus chunks, I hope they don’t hurt themselves a lot, unless these chunks come from other cacti, but Caccac would never hurt others out of the blue like that, they only delve in violence in retaliation. So I like to believe they can just grow these cacti chunks by themselves, in a completely painless process :)
And that’s Caccac! A wonderful addition to the family of cactus enemies, please give your closest cactus enemy a hug today (a very gentle hug please don’t hurt yourself).
Caccac (M&L: Dream Team)
Whenever I played M&L: Dream Team, if I encountered a Caccac, I would always flee the battle. I just didn't want to hurt them and interrupt their beauty sleep!
