YES One of Dea's favourite things to do is to get Grinpayne to describe colours to her. It started off as a silly thing when they were kids but it's become one of their favourite ways to pass the time, because Grinpayne is really, really good at metaphors, so colours and sights become tastes and smells and feelings and Dea feels like she can see the world better than anyone sighted. (She also just. Loves listening to him talk.)

Another thing they do together is kinda goofy but when they're parked outside of a city, Grinpayne will scout up the road and make sure it's deserted and that the track is even and free from rocks and stuff and then. He'll take Dea's hand, and they'll just. Sprint up the road for as long as they can. Dea's pretty sure it's what flying feels like. Ursus thinks they look like idiots but they're always so happy when they come stumbling back all out of breath that he lets it happen.

Also Dea loves the snow, because her world is obviously built entirely around non-visual sensations and the feeling of snow is so unique, but for Grinpayne it triggers really awful feelings (even if he can't access the actual memories). Dea knows when the sky looks like it's going to snow because he gets really quiet and nervous and sometimes a bit snappy, and she makes sure that when they can they don’t do shows on those days and stay inside the cart instead reading and knitting and generally being domestic.
