THERE IS MORE THAN DRIZZT, DROW AND ARTEMIS ENTRERI IN THE FORGOTTEN REALMS KTHX!!! *headdesk x1000* 

The dwarves! How can anyone not like Bruenor Battlehammer, the Bouldershoulder brothers or Athrogate? How? Also, for some reason, a lot of people don't like Cadderly who is actually pretty amazing. Do they feel Drizzt's status as "The graitest evar!" is threatened by him? Idk. 

Now, don't get me wrong here. I do like Drizzt (though Jarlaxle will always be my favorite) and I do think the Drow are pretty cool as a race despite being self-genocidal. I also do like Artemis to a degree though the strange character growth he had in the Sellsword trilogy probably irritated most of his fanbase (which was more than likely done on purpose as I think Salvatore was attempting to retire the character and what better way to do so than to develop said character into a direction his/her fans would hate?) But I still recognize that there are more awesome characters out there who aren't those people or of that specific race.  I dunno. Guess I'm just slightly irritated that I always tend to like things that are less popular with fandom which makes finding things of them RIDICULOUSLY HARD! Meh. >:T
